My Mom Is Here is the brainchild of Sam Seiff (vocals) and Nick Sare (keys), who suckered their talented Columbia jazz pal Aidan Speckhard (drums) into playing tunes with them on an NYC rooftop. Ever since, My Mom Is Here has been rocking NYC venues with animated originals and innovative covers. 

​Sam grew up pawing through her parents’ extensive CD collection and her songwriting is thus inspired by artists like The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan, New Radicals, and more. Nick started touring with his group, Melt the Band, while in college. Nick's experience playing alongside bands like Sammy Rae & The Friends, Lawrence, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Couch, and Karl Denson (The Rolling Stones), drives the group’s developing sound.

 Friends and moms laude the band for their tight musicianship and goofy onstage antics.
